• Installer is responsible for determining if pilings are adequate to carry the lift and the lift’s payload!
• Before lifting boat, the boat must be centered on lift!
• You must place the center of your boat’s gravity between the cradle arms!
• Caution: Boatlifts Are Not Made For Lifting Humans!!

• Note: From Track Mount to Soil Distance- No More Than 13′! Over 13′ Requires Kicker Brace.

• Some drilling will be required for this installation as every install will be somewhat different.
• Note: This lift may be mounted to a dock, piling or concrete seawall/deck. The depth of water needed is approx. 24″ plus the draft of the boat. It is contractor’s responsibility to determine and construct suitable support fixtures and bracing for lift pilings and/or seawall mounts. This elevator lift cannot be mounted to a freestanding piling as piling may collapse.
• Note: The piling spread should be set no more or less than the specified distance for your particular lift.

1. If installing a piling mounted lift, pilings should be cut approx. 1″ above the highest desired point of travel for the lift’s cradle. Insure that the complete cradle will be out of the water at high tide. Through-bolt mounts to piling with (4) bolts or threaded rod (not included). Leave a few inches of exposed piling above the mounting holes.
2. Slide track through mount. If using angled tracks, use angle locator to guide track into the ground at 24° unless otherwise specified. Hammer or wash track to desired penetration to soil and tighten mount. Track should be installed min. 8’ into soil. Make sure that the tracks are square with each other. Tracks cannot be out-of-square more that 2″. Take measurements between tracks at dock level as well as water level.
3. Tracks should be cut level approx. 4-6’ above piling top or 7 feet above walkway of dock or seawall.
4. Slide cradle arms over track and temporarily secure with rope. Top rollers will be inside the flange of the track. Bottom rollers run on top of the track.
5. Slide winch assemblies over ends of tracks.
6. Install motors/gears onto winch assemblies as shown. Run end of cable thru grooved winder and “fish” out of end of drive pipe. Use cable clamps provided and clamp around cable so it will not slide back thru hole. Other end of cable will either bolt off thru trolley arm or run thru pulley and be clamped off on deadman at winch assembly. You should have 3 wraps of cable around drive pipe before your boats weight is placed on cradle arms. Repeat for other cradle arm.
7. Install cross bracing making sure cradle arms are parallel. Install cross bracing on back of tracks for lifts OVER 10k lbs capacity. Secure at ends with supplied hardware. Install bunks with angled brackets supplied. Drill thru the bunks and bolt.
8. Install guidepost brackets on the left side of each cradle arm and covers onto motors.
9. Installation is now complete. Make adjustments to bunks and guideposts as needed and grease all fittings adequately.
